Gisela Grañena

Gisela Grañena. English teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and Linguistics from the University of Barcelona (UB), with a postgraduate degree in TEFL from the University of Barcelona (UB), a master’s degree in Intercultural Communication from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a doctorate in Second Language Acquisition with a certificate in Measurement, Statistics and Assessment from the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on explicit and implicit second language learning, cognitive individual differences and task-based teaching. She has co-managed and collaborated on different projects into factors such as age and aptitude for second language learning.
